AMY L. WOOD, CPA
Senior Audit Manager
Amy works collaboratively with a broad variety of commercial and not-for-profit organizations including manufacturing, distribution, retail, service providers, and mission-oriented organizations. She specializes in financial statement audits, reviews and other accounting services, and has experience in a variety of industries including with software, renewable energy, food and beverage, independent schools, performing arts centers, and private foundations.
She joined GFC in 2009 after graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Amy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also certified to perform audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards for entities receiving federal funds. She currently serves on the board of directors and finance committee of Special Olympics Vermont.
Amy was born and raised in rural northeast Vermont, where she grew up in a large family. She currently resides in Waterbury, Vermont with her husband, Andy. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and undertaking ambitious home renovation projects. She is also a long-time member of GFC’s softball team.
